Sealed Oracle front and instruction cards on a warm paper background

Sealed Oracle

A small pack of one-use reflection cards.

Scan the mark. Touch six times. Receive a reading.

What appears will remain.

What the heck?

These are Sealed Oracle cards: small one-use reflection objects. Scan the mark on the front, make six quiet touches, and receive a short I Ching-inspired reading. Once the reading appears, it is sealed to that specific card. Scan it later and the same reading returns.

The card becomes a little physical record of a moment, rather than a random fortune or a reusable app.

What I’m exploring is the interaction between a small printed object, a simple ritual gesture, and a digital response that becomes fixed. I’m trying to make it feel less like “using software” and more like opening something once and keeping what appeared.

Each envelope has five cards. You can try them yourself, give them away, or just tell me where the experience feels clear, confusing, too precious, too weird, or surprisingly good.

No card required. This demo lets you feel the ritual — make six quiet touches, receive a reading.

Open the demo → Real cards generate and seal their own reading. The demo uses a sample flow.

Feedback

I’m testing these with a few people and I’m especially curious about:

No pressure to use them in any particular way. I mostly wanted to put them in someone else’s hands and see what happens.
